Hi all, Is it just me or do we all keep suffering for years to come, I am 2 years 2 months and I am still having a difficult time with memory, getting things done, takes forever. Am I alone and how long does it go on?
Thanks

I\'m going on 6 years and I still have \"things\". I also had Chemo, Cytoxan in 1991-92, so I never actually bounced back from that when I got HNC (tonsil) in 2012. But I will be 60 in June, of which I am very proud, so some lack of bouncing back may be due to that. I\'m also an SLE patient, dx\'ed in 1976, so Ca didn\'t scare me....much....lol! The way I look at it is this: I\'m here! I have residuals, but I\'m here. I\'ve always had issues and I just look at it as the hand I was dealt. HNC survivors now are being treated with Proton Radiation rather than the IMRT which I had and that\'s more pinpointed meaning less latent effects. And there\'s always more Rx\'s to combat annoying side effects. Aricept may help memory.

have you been in remission for 6 years or intermittently treating the cancer for 6 years? Both are good - Im just curious

I had two times of NED, but have been constantly fighting since November 2016
