Hi to all, my 55 year old mate has just been diagnosed with Squamous cell carcinoma. It is in his voice box and the in close lymph glands. He's been told he has six months to live unless they operate. The specialist will let him know in 6 days if they'll proceed or not. More likely not. She advised him to investigate alternatives.
We've all been researching and have found a website by a lady called Peggy Sue Roberts pointing us to use a Mexican cancer clinic. This clinic uses non invasive natural therapies, apparently, with great success.
Has anybody out there had anything to do with this clinic.? If so could you advise us.?
Thankyou in advance for your help.
All the best, Darrylc

Interested in more discussions like this? Go to the Head and Neck Cancers group.

My friends mother went down, came back and died. Now she may have been too
far along and yet I know people using natural remedies and their cancer is
gone??? I had stage 4 Head Neck & Throat at the age of 64. I do not know
how long I have. I really don\'t think about it . I\'m too busy getting my
business back up.
Good luck, whatever you decide to do.
@Darrylc... Your friend is having cancer of larynx... he merits external radiotherapy (with or without chemotherapy) as per his disease stage (TNM classification)... Surgery will lead to morbidity ie loss of voice... There is no role of natural remedies or alternative medicine in cancer management... He must seek appointment with a radiation oncologist before its too late!! All the best...

Hi. I don't know what type of alternative therapy is offered in the clinic you mention, but something I have found in my travels on the internet is mistletoe therapy. http://www.mistletoetherapy.org.uk/research/
There is an interesting medical research paper available free from the site:
Abstract
Introduction: Complementary and alternative medicine usage, though rising, remains largely devoid of a sound scientific basis; however, there is increasing evidence to support its use in cancer therapy. Aim: To present the case of a patient with laryngeal carcinoma who made a full recovery following mistletoe therapy, despite failing to respond to chemoradiotherapy and salvage laryngectomy.Design: Case report with relevant literature review. Results: The patient developed extensive, unresectable stomal recurrence, and it was deemed appropriate to supply palliative care only. Following treatment with mistletoe extract injections after palliative radiotherapy, he recovered fully and was eventually discharged from care.

I believe that anything and everything is worth following up, alongside mainstream medicine, there is hope.
good luck and god bless
