Head & neck cancer sorry to say but the radiation treatment will be with you pretty much the rest of your life. It all improves to a point, then you go on living with many changes that will not be comfortable.

If your last day of treatment is June 17 then you have not even started recovery. You should not be able to swallow yet, it is sore. You have a long time to recover yet. I am 14 months out and still fighting after effects. They are with you for

Glad to hear you are doing well. My husband had 33 radiation treatments plus surgery. He still is having along up hill climb. Swallowing is still difficult for him. He goes for his first check up next month. Good luck to you. May you have long life.
