New to the group

I am new to this group and recently diagnosed with supraglottic cancer. I had a TORS supraglottic laryngectomy and selective neck dissection done last Thursday (Aug 9) I am still trying to get my bearings back from the surgery, I didn't anticipate this being such a big deal.
I am still waiting to hear about the lymph node biopsy, so we don't yet know the staging. I am a 43 yo Mom with 2 teenagers and I also struggle with severe emphysema.

Sorry you are having to deal with this Laurie and glad you found us here. Keep us posted and hope that you are recovering OK from your surgery.

WHAT DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT STAGING ? WHERE WAS YOUR SURGERY DONE ? IF YOU'RE STILL NOT UP TO CHATTING, I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND ???? I'M HERE ANYTIME ...... BEST REGARDS .....
