I'm 70. Played golf three weeks after open RP. Pathology disclosed no Ca in lymph nodes but seminal vesicle involvement and 4mm positive margin at base. Next step most likely is IMRT in 3-4 months.
The best therapy is just doing what you love to do and ignoring the bad stuff inside you at least for awhile! Get on with life! I see too much obsession with the lousy disease which can cause anxiety and depression which I believe hinders recovery.
