Several posts have recently suggested Ginger can reduce chemotherapy associated nausea. Anyone have any experience with this? https://news.cancerconnect.com/treatment-care/ginger-supplements-reduce-chemotherapy-induced-nausea-3B6rHRbu9keWrwgbJujyTQ/

I used both ginger tea and peppermint tea for nausea and found peppermint more effective, especially once my taste buds started to change and my throat began to get sore. Once I started using the PEG tube, I didn't bother with tea and used zofran and dex instead. Probably should have stuck to the tea since constipation is an awful side effect of the drugs. BTW, I've heard of others who found relief with peppermint star mints.
Smoothe Move Tea helped with the constipation that can be a side effect of zofran.
I drank ginger ale and it helped
I work with a Chinese acupuncturist who recommends both ginger and acupuncture to control chemo related nausea--he works in integrative medicine at Dana Farber.

Yes it does anything ginger!
I have ginger around, keep some with teas and I get some small cubes that I can put into hot water or chew on. Seems to help some if intense nausea check with Dr. for some meds, they helped when I was going through chemo and radiation together.
My husband had to cut the Zofran down to 4mg from 8mg and eats prunes and drinks prune juice religiously during his chemo days.
Ginger is healthy anyway and I put a chunk of it in my green drink every day along with a clove of garlic, I believe it is good for upset stomach too.
I drank mild ginger tea and took Zofran for nausea. This seems to help. I took Colace for the constipation which also made a difference. Lauriemacc
We used Smooth Move tea to balance the constipation that cropped up after days of zofran. He was on 3/day for a long time.
