Anybody tried Yervoy with Opdivo?

Anybody tried Yervoy with Opdivo??
I'm considering it, but Yervoy has mean side-effect possibilities. I had no side effects from Opdivo for HNSSC. Thanks.

I had tonsil cancer and in October of 15 I was considered NED. I jump at any little sign that might show that I am about to have a reoccurrence.  I was very surprised at the NED as I was stage 4 and HIV positive. A good friend of mine who was stage 1 with HIV had a hell of a time with it. Just recently I was diagnosed with ground glass opacities and Brocheitisis. with a possible Mac infection. After being told what it was and reading about it I thought that I was a goner. However I saw a pulmonologist and he does not think the ground glass is cancer, which is great because it means it is just inflammation. I will know more in about a week when I go under for a biopsy and scrapping of my lungs. I wanted to talk to you because I was curious if you head and neck cancer was a new cancer or a reoccurrence.  It would be nice if some of the new immune drugs are helping people with spread or reoccurrence. Thanks 'eth. I took Ipdivo and it almost got rid of all my cancer in 2-3 months but then stopped working (common response). But had no bad side effects. Try it in a study if not FDA approved for you.
It was spread from my throat to nearby areas by my jaw/ear.

Hi @wojahns, just checking in to see if you ended up do the combination of Yervoy and Opdivo?

Hi!
We delayed because currently capecetamine seems to be working with little ill effects other than tiredness which seems much better than risking the Opdivo/Yervoy combined potential side effects. Well keep you informed, thanks.
I am also approved for patient assistance if I have to use them but not a clinical trial as they are not available for my HNSCC. I am delaying the approval as long as I can while on the chemo pills as an alternative. Hey. I have my hair back, YEH!
