Hi Megm,
This is an issue that we are thinking about a lot. I am not very big on elective surgery. It seems very invasive to get a biopsy. THe ENT I went to in NYC will be getting touch with me tomorrow so I can speak to him about

Hi @ponderit, It definitely sounds like you are asking the right questions. That's great that the PET was clear in addition to the initial biopsy. I have read that biopsies of that area do typically require anesthesia because it is a complex procedure. Hopefully your conversation with the other ENT will

Mar 29, 2016 · @fourlaffs · Throat cancer: chemo, radiation, surgery. Stroke and blood clot

I had throat cancer twice, Dec 2013 and Dec 2014. First treatment plan was chemo x 5 and radiation x 35. Second treatment was a radical neck dissection. On Dec 23 2015 I had a stroke. I'm baffled by this. I'm healthy, weight is 133 LBS, eat clean, workout daily

I saw the Rad Oncologist, he did feel the stroke was directly related to the amount of radiation and the location. He felt it did restrict the vessels. I go back for another MRI on Thursday and a follow up consult in a week.
